Mònica Plana Izquierdo, the Director of the Technical Department and the Inclusion and Poverty Area, holds a Degree in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Barcelona. With a specialization dating back to 2000, she has extensive experience in designing and implementing social innovation programs, fundraising, and financing for non-profit organizations. Her expertise extends to crucial organizational aspects, including communication and participation in NGOs. While also providing support to various educational and cultural organizations, her primary professional development has been within ABD. Having been a part of the ABD Technical Team since 2001, Mònica currently serves as the Director of the Technical Department and the Inclusion and Poverty Area. In this capacity, she oversees the creation of impactful social services and programs, as well as conducting assessments and research. Mònica is particularly interested in building alliances between the enterprise field, social innovation, and the impact assessment of both services and social companies.
