Iffat Rose Gill is an award-winning social innovator, digital strategist, and global leader for the digital inclusion of women. She is named top 100 Women in Social Enterprise in 2022 and is listed as Amsterdam Wonder Woman by the city of Amsterdam! She has extensive experience in setting up programs and initiatives for the economic empowerment of underrepresented groups like youth, and women through digital inclusion via public-private partnerships to address the shortage of skilled labor and the gender digital divide. Iffat has a strong focus on up-skilling and re-skilling the current talent pool to meet the ever- growing and evolving needs of the digital economy. Iffat’s initiative The Code To Change is working in Europe and Asia to bridge the gender and e- skills gap in the technology industry. Since launching the organization in 2010, Iffat has trained over 4500 women to be tech-job ready and become economically empowered, and in the process impacted the lives of over 25,000 lives. Ms. Gill has been at the forefront of shaping the global policy debate of women’s digital inclusion for more than a decade. She has advocated for digital and entrepreneurship skills education and a gender diverse workforce at many global policy-level platforms.
