Estelle Uba is a Junior Multimedia Reporter at Pioneers Post that is based in London. Before joining Pioneers Post last year, she studied a Master’s degree in International Journalism at City, University of London, then completed internships at The Guardian and Agence-France Presse. Prior to studying her Master’s, she studied BA English and Sociology at the University of Leeds, and spent her final year studying in Montpellier, France. Estelle also works as a freelance journalist and English tutor on the side, and volunteers at the Young Africa Centre as a content creator, event host and interviewer. As a journalist, she is most passionate about telling stories that relate to identity, society and culture, especially those of people from the Global South.
