Coos Santing has been the Program Manager of ImpactCity The Hague for the past five years. Coos believes that economic success must go hand in hand with solutions for a better world. Under Coos’ leadership, ImpactCity has grown from a program for startups combining doing good and doing business to the leading impact ecosystem it is nowadays. Coos is therefore regularly asked as a speaker on building a successful ecosystem in a city. Before joining ImpactCity at the Municipality of The Hague, Coos spent more than 10 years in different roles within the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. All these roles focused on entrepreneurship. For example, he was part of the team that set up the national startup taskforce, StartupDelta, now TechLeap and was setting up national investment schemes for start-ups, business angels and venture capitalists.
